RE: AFG TEAM TRYOUTS OCT 7 & 8 OC AND OCT 14 & 15 VA

I agree with you guys Ali, Hafeez and Tariq and yes you Korrupt (lol)... we have all had dialogues in great detail, many agree-many disagree...whatever the case maybe, this process still went through some microscope and some steming from my perspective...What has happened is over with and with only a few weeks, TOGETHER WE SHALL ALL SUPPORT OUR AFGHAN NATIONAL TEAM. I was perhaps one of the first to most critical of the process, procedure and personel, but time has come that we set aside some of our misunderstandings and some of our understandings whichever side we may be but together focus on what WE CAN DO TO PROVIDE SUPPORT...this horese has been beaten to death. Ali great points on what we can do to help out...I will do my very best to be of any help anyone, on THE NATIONAL TEAM NEEDS OF ME AND MY FAMILY. Tamim jan my brother alot of your points I personally agree with with the exception of how baddly we loose...This may or MAYNOT happen...we really don't know...I still believe that there are many great players that are part of this team and as a team I think they will do there best. I truely believe this...! Win or Loose as T,Haf,Ali and others mentioned, really becomes secondary... will I BE SURPRISED IF THEY WON;NOT AT ALL BECAUSE THERE ARE STILL MANY GREAT PLAYERS AS WELL AS ROLE PLAYERS ON THIS TEAM WHOM HAVE HEART... FINALLY, AS ONE OF YOUR BRO'S HERE ON THE SERVER AND IN THIS BBALL COMMUNITY AND A FRIEND TO ALL..., I WOULD RESPECTFULLY AND KINDLY ASK THAT FROM HERE ON OUT TOGETHER WE ALL PROVIDE NOTHING BUT POSITIVE HONEST SUPPORT FOR OUR 2006-2007 AFGHAN NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM- GO GET'EM HOMIES...! TO CHINA, HONG-WONG..LOL, AND WHOMEVER, I SAY BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All,

Everyones not happy with the decisions made a couple weeks back. Well whatever happened... it's done!

First
Safi is a baller no doubt and is one of the best point guards. (being his teammate the past tournament)
The thing is he never showed up the second day which hurts because it was announced that it is a full two days which ali amiri...zo...etc were all there!

Second
Honestly instead of trying to criticize the team and throw all the problems on Yousof why not just support the country and just except the way things turned out to be. ITs the first year we put a team together of course it's not going to be as organized or have great coaching!

It shouldn't be people hating.....quitting ....or disrespecting people. Its basketball guys!

If you wanna continue putting down the coach... diss me or the team than do it. Its just showing no class....and immaturity.
At the same time it's that easy to wish the team good luck or not say anything period.

Mass,
The jerseys that you guys will put on says AFGHAN NATIONAL TEAM. If it was WCH, AFG Ballers or OC Wrath then no one would give a crap as to who the coach is and what players were selected.

The Afghan Community has every right to express and voice their concerns about the process of selecting players and coaches. This does not mean that we're "immature" or that we have "no class" as you put it.

Truth of the matter is: You , Farhad, Safi , Nawid, and a bunch of other youngsters are the future of AFG Basketball. How would you guys feel if in the Future Jamal and the Toofoners (as an example) put together a team in a matter of like 1 month and called it the Afghan National Team? That's basically what happened this time and so we want to make sure that it doesn't happen again. I think that about 7-9 of the players deserve to be on the team and the rest are very arguable including the coaching selection. So, the point I am trying to make is we are disgusted with the way things went down so we are voicing our opinions. This is just within the community, I have never and will never criticize you guys or the AFG National Team to the outside world. I will always support you guys but it doesn't mean that I or everyone else agrees with who should and shouldn't be on the team.

Love and Respect kid, Best of Luck in the Tourney.
